What is the event about?
Together with the Kwiat Kobiecości Foundation, we invite you to take part in a special preventive health campaign during which 200 free blood tests will be performed to check the level of the CEA (carcinoembryonic antigen) tumor marker.
This is a quick and non-invasive test that can play a crucial role in the early detection of cancers, particularly of the colon, pancreas, lungs, stomach, and breast.
The CEA test is especially recommended for people over the age of 40, as well as for those who:
-
have a family history of cancer,
-
smoke cigarettes or have been exposed to carcinogens,
-
have noticed concerning symptoms (such as unexplained weight loss, chronic abdominal pain, or digestive issues),
-
want to perform a preventive health check-up.
No referral is needed – just show up and get tested.
Why is the CEA test important?
CEA (carcinoembryonic antigen) is a protein that, when elevated, may indicate the presence of cancerous changes, even before any clinical symptoms appear. It is a screening test and may serve as an important signal for further medical investigation.
While an elevated marker alone is not enough to diagnose cancer, detecting it early can significantly increase the chances of successful treatment.
Prevention is the best investment in your health!
