On May 16, a special health-focused event will take place at Galeria Północna, organized by the Polish Pharmaceutical Students’ Association as part of the nationwide campaign “Ask Your Pharmacist”.
This is a great opportunity to take advantage of free preventive health screenings, gain reliable health knowledge, and talk to specialists and medical students—all in one place.
Visitors will be able to explore a variety of educational and diagnostic stations, including:
- Blood pressure measurement with result interpretation and healthy lifestyle advice
- Body composition analysis (including body fat, muscle mass, and hydration levels)
- Blood glucose and lipid profile testing performed by qualified pharmacists
- Pharmaceutical consultations – discuss medications and therapy options
- First aid station – learn proper CPR techniques
- Educational stands covering Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and kidney diseases
- Pharmacognosy – presentation of medicinal plant materials
For children, a special kids’ corner will be available. Additionally, all visitors can enjoy a creative station “Make Your Own Medicine,” where simple medicinal forms can be prepared by hand.
During the event, the DKMS Foundation will also be present, where you can learn more about stem cell donation and register as a potential donor.
