What? Free CA-125 Testing

When? March 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (or until tests run out)

Where? In front of the main entrance to the Galeria Północna, on the side of the Trakt Nadwiślański

For whom? Women of all age groups

On the occasion of International Women's Day, we invite all women to take advantage of free CA-125 testing, which can help in the early detection of ovarian cancer. The event is organized in cooperation with the Kwiat Kobiecności Foundation and will take place on March 8 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (or until tests run out).

The tests are completely free and available to women of all ages. No prior registration is required—simply visit the test bus, which will be parked in front of the main entrance to the North Gallery on the side of the Vistula Route.

What is the CA-125 test?
The CA-125 test is primarily used for diagnosing cancers such as ovarian cancer. The CA-125 antigen is found on the surface of newly formed ovarian cells but is also present in some normal tissues of healthy individuals. While its presence is natural, a high level of CA-125 can indicate a pathological process, including inflammation.
