For whom? For everyone who cares about the future of our planet
"Be ECO - pass it on" is the first of four eco-events focused on collecting clothing for reuse. The event is organized in cooperation with the Eko Textil Foundation.
Every participant who brings at least 2 kg of clothing, shoes, or accessories will receive a potted herb as a gift. The number of gifts is limited to 1,000 units.
Participants will be able to track the total amount of collected clothing in real-time.
Workshop Zone
Additionally, skilled seamstresses will assist in repairing clothing and accessories and will teach basic sewing skills, such as darning or sewing on buttons. Sewing machines will also be available for use.
What will happen to the collected clothing?
- Second-hand use – Clothes in good condition will be resold in specialized stores.
- Alternative fuel – Heavily damaged clothing will be used as an energy source.
- Cleaning cloths & carpet production – Cotton clothing will be processed into cleaning materials, while woolen clothing will be turned into carpets.
