Regulations for the use of the garden on the roof of Galeria Północna

I. GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. The Roof Garden (hereinafter referred to as the “Garden”) is located on the 2nd floor of Galeria Północna in Warsaw and is a generally accessible area of rest and recreation for customers and visitors to Galeria Północna under the conditions specified in these Rules and Regulations.

2. The Manager of the Garden and Galeria Północna is Centrum Światowida Sp. z o.o. (“Manager”).

3. Entering the Garden premises is tantamount to acceptance of these Rules and Regulations.

4. Any incidents threatening the health or life or safety of persons on the premises of the Garden or incidents constituting a breach of the regulations in force must be reported immediately to the emergency telephone number 112.

5. The Garden premises are monitored 24 hours a day.

II. IN ORDER TO ENSURE ORDER, SAFETY OF LIFE AND HEALTH ON THE GARDEN PREMISES, IT IS FORBIDDEN TO:

1. for minors under 7 years of age, be present on the Garden premises unaccompanied without the supervision of their guardians;

2. behave in a way that disturbs the peace, rest and safety of other users of the Garden;

3. rearrange benches, waste bins and other fixed items of Garden infrastructure, excluding deckchairs and chairs;

4. destroy or damage flowers, trees and other plants;

5. destroy, damage or remove any equipment, facilities and fixtures located within the Garden;

6. use equipment and facilities located in the Garden in a manner inconsistent with their intended use;

7. throw rubbish outside the rubbish bins;

8. contaminate the area around the graduation tower and the water basin, including the water wheel;

9. enter the graduation tower chamber and the water wheel reservoir and consume water from the water tanks, including the Abyssinian well located on the Garden premises;

10. climb the infrastructure not intended for this purpose, i.e. skylights, sunshades, furniture, plants, the graduation tower, the water wheel;

11. bring dogs and other animals with the exception of guide and assistance dogs;

12. enter and drive motorised vehicles, including bicycles, with the exception of strollers and ride-on toys and wheelchairs;

13. ride bicycles, roller blades, inline skates, skateboards, skates and sledges and other sports equipment and devices except [strollers] and ride-on toys;

14. smoke any tobacco products including electronic cigarettes and IQOS;

15. consume alcoholic beverages, intoxicants or other stimulants; with the proviso that alcohol purchased from food outlets located within the Garden may be consumed in a designated area, being the garden of the food outlet;

16. for persons whose condition indicates consumption of alcohol, intoxicants or other drugs, be present on the Garden premises;

17. burn fires, use open fire and barbecue; this prohibition does not apply to the food outlets located in the Garden;

18. carry out commercial, service and advertising activities without the consent of the Management Authority;

19. organise special events, temporary exhibitions without the prior consent of the Management Authority;

20. fail to comply with fire safety regulations in force.

III. PLAYGROUNDS:

The playgrounds located on the Garden premises may only be used:

1. in the case of the playground along the wooden decking – by children up to 150 cm tall;

2. in the case of the playground along the Egurrola Dance Studio – by children up to 130 cm tall.

IV. GRADUATION TOWER

1. The brine graduation tower is a public relaxation area – a natural inhalatorium (“Graduation Tower”) and is an integral part of the Garden where the provisions of these Rules and Regulations and this section IV shall apply.

2. Using the Graduation Tower is tantamount to reading and accepting the Rules and Regulations.

3. The Graduation Tower may only be used by persons in good health or persons whose health conditions do not contraindicate the use of inhalation therapy.

4. The Graduation Tower must not be used by: a) people who have had a myocardial infarction, b) people with coronary heart failure, especially people with low blood pressure, c) people with acute inflammation and fever, d) people with hyperthyroidism, e) people who are hypersensitive to ions in the brine.

5. Any deterioration in well-being while using the Graduation Tower must be reported immediately to the Galeria Północna Security Service.

6. The recommended duration of a single stay in the Graduation Tower should not exceed 45 minutes.

7. Any behaviour that interferes with the use of the Graduation Tower by other users is forbidden in the Graduation Tower area.

V. CLEANING AND SECURITY SERVICES:

1. Persons staying in the Garden shall obey the instructions of the cleaning services and representatives of the Galeria Północna Security Service; the Galeria Północna Security Service may control the behaviour of persons staying in the Garden and, if any infringement of these Rules and Regulations is found, may prohibit the persons from staying in the Garden.

2. Any damage to the equipment or furnishings of the Garden should be reported to the Galeria Północna Security Service, contact number: 22 812 84 83

VI. FINAL PROVISIONS:

1. The safety of minors present on the Garden premises shall be the responsibility of their legal guardians.

2. Their legal guardians shall be responsible for any damage caused by minors.

3. Garden users are advised that the water supplying the Graduation Tower and the water in the water tanks is not suitable for consumption.

4. The Garden user is responsible for any accidents caused in connection with or as a result of failure to comply with these Rules and Regulations.

5. The Garden Management Authority shall not be liable for any damage caused during the use of the Garden.

6. The Management Authority shall not be responsible for any valuables left on the Garden premises.

7. The Administrator reserves the right to limit the right of customers and guests visiting Galeria Północna to use the Gardens in whole or in part.

8. Any breach of these Rules and Regulations may result in the offender being removed from the Garden premises.
